Art Chair Auction & Social

Each of 52 area artists has selected a book. Inspired by the book, each has painted – and otherwise adorned – a chair, resulting in a treasury of 52, one-of-a-kind, commemorative works of art.

They will be auctioned, raising funds for the necessary materials and equipment for the historic opening of the spectacular new St. Cloud Public Library.

Individual chairs will be on display at various locations prior to the Library's Grand Opening. There are chairs for every taste and personality.

To see all of them at one time, attend the festive Art Chair Auction & Social. At this event, all the chairs will be sold via auction: most will be silent auctioned; a few will be live auctioned. This will also be your opportunity to bid to own one.

Tickets: $25 in advance, $30 day of event. Available in person at St. Cloud Public Library, Al Ringsmuth Public Library in Waite Park, Paramount Arts Center, and Byerly's.
