Children's and Teen Summer Reading Program

Each summer, GRRL provides themed programs that encourages children and teens to read through the summer break, therefore maintaining or improving their reading skills. The 2013 Summer Reading Program sign-up begins on June 10 and the program ends on August 10.

The children's program is for children age 3 to 12. Those going into grades 6-12 may enter the teen program. Children in 6th grade can choose to be in the Children's Summer Reading Program or the Teen Summer Reading Program. Children ages 0-3 have a separate program with age appropriate activities for parents to do with their babies and toddlers, with prize drawings for parents who engage their children in early literacy skills.

Kids can check out the Summer Reading Program page for more fun, while teens can go to the Teen Summer Reading Program page.

You can help support summer reading through a donation to the Summer Reading Program. Your library will accept donations by cash, check or credit card.

All regional prizes generously paid for with funds from the St. Cloud Friends of the Library.
