The Kimball Library Building Committee held its groundbreaking event for the new Kimball Public Library on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at the building site. This event also honored former librarian and the library project’s first major donor Lorraine Gregory.

Starting Thursday, August 1, 2019, the Hands-Free Law comes into effect. This means that Minnesota drivers are not able to have their phones in their hand. The law prohibits making calls, texting, looking for music, gaming, and finding directions while driving.
