52 Library Card Uses
Research your term paper. Number 24 in a series of uses for your library card.
However you go about writing term papers, using your library should be a part of the process if you want a top grade
Right after you select your topic you’ll want to begin gathering information. Once you’ve become better informed you’ll be able to craft a thesis statement, and then you can dig deeper into your information resources so as to write the body of your paper with appropriate references, notes, and quotes.
Your library is a storehouse of information, from our online databases to our encyclopedias, our biographies, our nonfiction and periodicals collections, and our computers with access to the Internet and a world-wide resource of current information. (Not to mention the help from staff who can guide you on your search.)
You can even use our computers to write and print your paper. Just bring along a jump drive so you can save your progress. Use the catalog to find materials that will help you develop content, and we'll deliver them to your local Great River Regional Library location.
Make the library a partner in your process and get that A grade from the teacher!
