Hopper Leaps Into Reading at Howard Lake
Hopper the Frog joined a group of twelve children attending a Leap Into Reading storytime at the Howard Lake Public Library on Wednesday, April 18. The group listened attentively to froggy stories, sang songs, made fun frog masks, and then checked out books to take home. Leap Into Reading is a statewide initiative to encourage reading and reading readiness among young children. Read more »

Kimball Patron Wins National Library Week Bingo Prize
A happy Karla Gehrke was the winner of the National Library Week Bingo at Great River Regional Library. National Library Week was celebrated April 8-14. Library visitors could pick up a Bingo sheet and fill the squares by completing tasks such as borrowing an item, attending a program, or filling out a comment form. All completed sheets went into a prize drawing. Read more »
