Readers Advisory

GRRL has many tools to help you find your next great book or movie or music.


  • Ask library staff for help!  We are ready to help you find the materials and help you learn to  use the tools available.

  • The library catalog is a great starting point for links to a variety of tools.

    • The New,Best & Fun tab links you to lists of new books, movies and music as well as special lists for topic areas, current events and programs.
    • Books titles have links to NoveList  which gives reviews, "read alikes" and more suggestions.
    • LibraryThing tags at many title entries link to similar kinds of books.
    • Use both links  to jump from one book to another in your search for new authors and reading experiences.
  • Libraries also have printed bookmarks and reading lists available.
