Tax Forms
During tax season, pick up tax forms at your local library or download and/or print federal forms from the IRS Website, and State of Minnesota forms from the Minnesota Department of Revenue.
GRRL computers will allow users to access Internal Revenue and individual state income tax information and preparation sites. Please note that GRRL policy does not permit installation of third party software onto GRRL computers. Although some sites may allow full online filing of taxes without installation of local software, the time needed to complete the forms and file taxes online may exceed the reserved time allowed for individual computer use.
You may need to create and remember passwords and personal identification numbers during the filing of taxes online. Library staff will not assist patrons with filling out tax forms. Assistance from staff is limited to helping users locate tax forms online, and directing patrons to other print or online resources. Users are cautioned that the Internet is not a secure medium. Personal information included in all transactions, files and communications may be subject to unauthorized access by third parties.
