Little Falls resident Rusty Gwost will be at the Royalton Public Library on Thursday, Sept. 18 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. to discuss and read from his newly published children's book, "Be Proud of Your Paws." Gwost is currently a teacher at the Royalton Elementary School. This event is free and open to all ages.

The Eagle Bend Public Library recently held its annual end of Summer Reading Program party.
Adults and children played "Book Bingo" for a chance to win a free book.
Following the bingo, prizes from the Summer Reading Program were handed out and everyone was served ice cream sundaes. This program was provided by the Eagle Bend Area Friends of the Library.

Z Juggling Rosenschnoz program was held at Lincoln Park in Staples as part of Railroad Days festivities. Children and their families enjoyed the juggling and magic tricks on a Sunday afternoon in the park. This program was sponsored through the Minnesota Arts & Cultural Heritage funds and the Staples Motley Area Arts Council.
Storytime at the Becker Library will resume on Tuesday, Sept. 2 starting at 10:30 a.m. However, there are some new changes to the storytime schedule. Storytime, with stories, singing, and crafts will take place Sept. 2 and 16. Tuesdays, Sept. 9 and 30 will be sensory/game days with time being self-directed by the parents or caregivers. Read more »

Smokey the Bear visited the Eagle Bend Public Library for a special storytime in July.
