Keep H1N1 at bay.
H1N1 flu is spreading in Central Minnesota. Schools are reporting lots of cases and several children have been hospitalized.
According to website WebMD, symptoms include fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue. Many patients have had diarrhea and vomiting.

Banned Books Week: Celebrating The Freedom To Read
Banned Books Week (BBW): Celebrating the Freedom to Read is observed during the last week of September each year. This year, it is being observed Sept. 26 to Oct. 3. Observed since 1982, this annual event reminds Americans not to take this precious democratic freedom for granted.

Equipment For Sale
Great River Regional Library is now selling decommissioned computers on eBay, the online auction site. Most computers to be sold are in working condition and at least five years old. Malfunctioning components or computers will be clearly identified.
